The short version: These terms explain how we work together. There’s no contract and no commitment, you can pause or stop service anytime. We give honest, free estimates, we do careful work, and you pay after each visit. Please keep your yard accessible and let us know about anything hidden in it. If something’s ever not right, just call Cody, we’ll make it right.
Agreeing to these terms
This website and our services are provided by Transitions Lawn Care & Landscaping, LLC (“Transitions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using transitionslandscaping.com, requesting an estimate, or hiring us for a job, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site or our services.
Who we are & what we do
We’re a local, owner-led lawn care and landscaping business based in Hope Mills, North Carolina, also serving Fayetteville and Cumberland County. Our services include lawn mowing and maintenance, landscaping and mulch, sod installation, seasonal and one-time cleanups, and related yard work. We work by appointment and respond to calls, texts, and form messages.
Free estimates & quotes
Estimates are free and come with no obligation. A quote is our good-faith price based on the information you give us and what we see at your property. The final price may differ if the property turns out to be a different size or condition than described, if access is limited, or if you ask for additional work. We’ll always talk it through with you and get your okay before doing anything that changes the agreed price.
No contracts, pause or cancel anytime
We don’t use long-term contracts. Recurring service, like weekly or biweekly mowing, continues at your request, and you can pause, reschedule, or stop it at any time. Just let us know, ideally before your next scheduled visit, so we can take you off the route. There are no cancellation fees.
Scheduling, weather & access
We schedule by appointment and work each job as it comes. Lawn care depends on the weather, heavy rain, storms, or unsafe conditions may push your visit to the next available day, and we’ll keep you posted if that happens. To keep things running smoothly on your service day, please make sure we can reach your yard: unlock any gates and keep pets secured indoors. If we arrive and can’t safely access or service the lawn, we may need to reschedule.
Getting your yard ready (your part)
Before we arrive, please help us do clean, safe work by:
- Clearing the lawn of items that could be damaged or get in the way, toys, hoses, furniture, tools, and debris
- Picking up pet waste so the area is sanitary to work in
- Flagging or telling us about anything hidden we should avoid, sprinkler heads, shallow wiring or cables, irrigation lines, septic covers, invisible-fence wires, low stakes, and delicate borders or plantings
We’re careful with your property, but we can’t see what’s buried, unmarked, or hidden in tall grass. Letting us know in advance protects your yard and our equipment.
Pricing & payment
We give you an honest, upfront price before we start, no surprises. Unless we’ve agreed otherwise, payment is due after each visit. We’ll let you know which payment methods we accept. If a payment is missed, we may pause future service until it’s caught up.
Our work & quality
We take real pride in doing the job right, and we stand behind our work. If something was genuinely missed or not done well, just tell us within a couple of days and we’ll come back to make it right. This is our commitment to good work, not a money-back guarantee, and the best way to reach us about it is a quick call or text to Cody.
Property & responsibility
We treat your property with care. That said, to the fullest extent allowed by North Carolina law:
- We can’t be responsible for damage to hidden, unmarked, or improperly installed items we couldn’t reasonably see (see “Getting your yard ready” above), or for pre-existing conditions in the lawn or landscaping.
- Normal results of lawn care, such as grass clippings, trimming near edges and beds, or the natural look of a freshly cut lawn, aren’t considered damage.
- Our total responsibility for any claim connected to a service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific visit involved, and we’re not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
If you ever think we caused a problem, please contact us right away so we can look at it together and make it right.
Calls & text messages
When you contact us or share your phone number, you agree that we may call, text, or email you about your estimate and service, for scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups. Texts you start with us are customer-initiated; you can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. For the full details on how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.
Using this website
You’re welcome to use this site to learn about us and get in touch. Please don’t misuse it, that includes trying to disrupt or break the site, accessing it in unlawful ways, or scraping or copying it for another business. We may limit or block access if the site is being misused.
Our content
The text, photos of our work, logo, and design on this site belong to Transitions Lawn Care & Landscaping and are protected by law. Please don’t copy, reuse, or republish them without our permission.
Other websites we link to
Our site may link to other places, like our Google Business Profile or Facebook page. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

We work to keep this website accurate, helpful, and available, but we provide it “as is.” Details and any sample prices shown on the site are for general information and may change, your actual quote is what we give you directly. We don’t promise the site will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
Governing law & resolving disagreements
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. If a disagreement ever comes up, please reach out to Cody first, we’d much rather solve it with a phone call than anything formal. If it can’t be worked out, any legal dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Cumberland County, North Carolina.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. By continuing to use the site or our services after a change, you accept the updated terms.
